Mount Abu ( Rajasthan): On the 2565th Birth Anniversary of The Buddha, Mahabodhi International Meditation Center, Leh Ladakh, organized an Online International Webinar. The aim of this initiative was to help interpret the message of Buddha in the context of Covid-19 Pandemic, and imbibe it in our daily lives. Values of compassion, peace and harmony were highlighted in view of the situation created by the Pandemic.
Many prominent personalities including Kalraj Mishra, Honorable Governor of Rajasthan, Lieutenant Governor Radhakrishna Mathur, Om Birla, Speaker of Lok Sabha, along with other ministers addressed this Webinar. World Famous religious and spiritual leaders also participated. Everyone appreciated the spiritual message of Buddha and the work of spiritual upliftment of the people done by him.
BK Dr. Binny Sareen was invited as the special guest. She represented the Brahma Kumaris on this occasion. BK Dr. Binny Sareen addressed the Webinar and coordinated a Meditation on the teachings of Buddha. Founder Head of Mahabodhi Meditation Center apprised the audience about the various public welfare measures taken by them inspired by Buddha. Other spiritual leaders including Ravishankar of Art of Living, Baba Ramdev of Patanjali, Dr. Acharya Laukesh Muni, Swami Deedanand Saraswati and Dr. Umar , also addressed the Webinar.
