Jaipur ( Rajasthan ): The Brahma Kumaris has been awarded with the “Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award,” RECA-2019, by the Department of Energy, Government of Rajasthan. This recognition came in appreciation of the efforts for energy conservation by the organization for the year 2018-19.
The organization, under its campaign “My Rajasthan, Prosperous Rajasthan, worked tirelessly to generate mass awareness about the need and methods of Energy Conservation. The “Save Million Units of Power Project” under this campaign reached out to household, industry, and transport sectors to work for this cause.
BK Bharat, President of the Social Activity Group of the Brahma Kumaris, received this award from Kunji Lal Meena, Primary Secretary, Department of Energy, Government of Rajasthan, during the 10th Energy Conservation Award Ceremony organized by the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC) at Indralok Auditorium in Jaipur.
