Kanjikode ( Tamil Nadu ): To celebrate 80 years of service in the field of ayurveda, AVP -Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Limited, a renowned producer of ayurvedic products and services, celebrated their foundation day at their Kanjikode unit. Managing director Devidas Varier lit the lamp and honored the doctors who were associated with AVP and made significant contributions in the field – VP Krishnamoorthy, P Upendran, R Vasudevakimal, MA Balakrishnan, MP Muraleedharan and P Vasumathi. Executive director Krishnadas Varier, chief executive officer Vipin Vijay and executive vice president Krishna Varier presided over the programme. The company honored union leaders R Vijayan Kunisseri from AITUC, SB Raju from CITU and SK Anandakrishnan from INTUC, and felicitated BK Sister Meena of Brahma Kumaris core management committee member for Tamil Nadu and south Kerala.
