The program started with BK Sister Harjit Kaur giving a brief introduction of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization. Following this, BK Sister Neelma shared, on this day, we heartily remember the former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, who made unique contributions towards the welfare of farmers. Being a farmer is not just a profession but in fact, they are the pride of the Nation. Irrespective of the weather conditions, farmers are always found working hard in their fields, in the lap of Mother Earth. Sometimes it is being heard that due to unpleasant weather conditions or some personal reasons, farmers get disappointed and commit suicide and on the other side, the youth today is indulging in drugs consumption. We should never give up on any situation.

For this, one needs to increase their willpower and meditation has a big role to play in this. Realizing themselves as a soul, who is the point of light that has all spiritual powers within. By being in this state and connecting with the Supreme light God, the embodiment of spiritual powers, one can experience peace and understand more deeply the wisdom of yogic and organic farming. Our thoughts are the foundation of our life which radiates as vibrations to the Universe. Nature catches our vibrations and farmers can bring better results in farming by creating positive thoughts in their life.  Sister Neelma also addressed Village Heads, saying that they have a great impact on the lives of the villagers and by making their own life spiritually enlightened, they can bring big change to make Bharat, a ‘Swarnim Bharat’, Glorious India. She concluded her talk with a guided meditation for all.

In her address, BK Dr. Poonam Sharma, Principal Microbiologist (Pulses) of the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics in Punjab Agriculture University, said that if we want to bring heaven on Earth, we need to start sustainable yogic and organic farming. In her visit to Mount Abu, for a Brahma Kumaris Agriculture and Rural Development Wing meeting, she personally found how well the results are coming from organic and yogic farming. This project is also being undertaken by farmers in Maharastra, Uttarkhand, Uttar Pradesh, where many experiments are also done on this that demonstrate better production. “Either 10-15% of the production will increase, or show significant results in the quality of the production,” she added.

Rajyogi BK Pawan said that Yog means connection and yogic agriculture is the spiritual way of farming in which the soul connects with the Supreme Soul and nurture their farms through positive thoughts and divine vibrations.

Agricultural Officer Dr. Rajinder Pal Singh Aulakh said that we are the closest one to our farms and therefore greatly impact nature.

Sukhwant Singh Tillu said that coming to Brahma Kumaris centre Vishwa Shanti Sadan has brought great peace to him. He showed his interest in doing the Brahma Kumaris 7-day Rajyoga Meditation course.

Village Head Ranjeet Singh thanked Brahma Kumaris for organizing this event and making him a part of this.

Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana In-charge BK Saraswati said that human beings and nature are deeply connected, therefore creating positive thoughts can make nature pure and divine. Bharat was once called the Golden Sparrow where there was heaven.  With positive change in ourselves, and deeply experiencing oneself as a divine being, we can enlighten not just Bharat but the whole world and thus can bring heaven again.

President of the PAU Organic Farmers Group Mr. Manpreet Singh Grewal and  Olympian Jagroop Singh Jarkhar also shared their valuable thoughts on the occasion.

A skit act about protecting the 5 elements of nature was also performed by child artists.

The stage was well coordinated by BK Dr. Priya. The program ended with felicitating Farmers, Village Heads, and Agriculture Officers and serving holy food to all.
