Patia, Bhubaneswar ( Orissa) : On the occasion of the “International Day for Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking,” two awareness rallies were organized in the morning and evening respectively by the Brahma Kumaris Patia Centre in different slum areas. In the evening the rally ended with a public meeting.
BK Dr. Dhirendra Nath enlightened the public regarding various negative impacts of drug addiction on health, society, as well as on family through video clips and power point presentations. A small drama was performed by slum children giving a message “How family system spoiled due to drugs and alcohol addiction”. Centre In-charge BK Gulab gave the vote of thanks to the audience.
