New York (USA): Brahma Kumaris celebrated Mahavir Jayanti with NGO friends and other dignitaries, including the Consul General of India New York, Hon. Randhir Jaiswal; Congresswoman of New York, Hon. Carolyn Maloney; Denise Scotto, Chair of the IDY Committee at the United Nations; and Guru Dileepkumar, Founder WYC; at the Indian Consulate, New York City. The event was organized by the Indian Consulate and International Ahimsa Foundation founded by Dr. Neeta Jain.
BK Sabita Geer, Representative of the Brahma Kumaris at the United Nations, was invited to conduct a Peace/Ahimsa Meditation at the event.
