Brahma Kumaris Chhatarpur Celebrate Festival of Lights

Chhatarpur ( Madhya Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Chhatarpur celebrated Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, at their local Centre, Pawandham Bhawan, in Kishore Sagar. It was launched by lighting the lamps by Chief Guest Mr. Ram Shiromani Pandey, the Jail Superintendent; Mr. Prabhakar Tikariya, Architect; Dr. SK Sharma; Mr. SP Niranjan, Grameen Bank Regional Manager; Mr. Rajesh Roopaliya, District Pension Officer; and Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Advocate, followed by an enchanting welcome dance performance by children.
Addressing the gathering, Centre in Charge BK Shailaja explained the Spiritual significance of the Festival of Lights. She said, “The Lamps illuminate the surrounding with happiness. Diwali fills every heart with joy and happiness. On this occasion we clean our homes, worship Sri Laxmi for Wealth, Sri Saraswati for Knowledge, and Sri Ganesh to solve all our problems in life. As we clean our homes, in the same way we should Purify our Conscience. It is said that Purity is the Mother of Peace and Prosperity. Similarly, if we clean our Mind, we acquire Divine Powers and Qualities. For this, Spiritual Knowledge is essential. Thus when we get illumined with Knowledge, darkness of Sorrows and Sufferings get vanished and Life gets brightened with Peace and Bliss. We mention Shubh and Laabh (Auspicious – Profit) on Diwali, it really means when we perform good deeds we definitely get benefits with success.”
People thronged in large numbers to have a vision of all three live Deities and received blessings to their heart’s content. The whole surrounding was beautifully and colourfully decorated with Rangoli (artistic geometrical designs). The atmosphere was filled with the reverberation of Divinity, Joy and Enthusiasm.
BK Madhuri, BK Rama, BK Reena, BK Kalpana, BK Sulekha, BK Rekha and BK Rajani also shared their views on Deepavali.
