Bilaspur ( Chhattisgarh ) : World Earth Day was celebrated in ‘Shiv Anurag Bhawan’ Rajkishore Nagar. BK Manju said that from the Golden age till now, Mother Earth has brought us up with lot of love since time memorial . When humans were superior in virtues, then nature was an obedient servant. Due to the huge increase in population and excessive exploitation of the earth through the experiments of science, the land is not only becoming weak but also becoming poisonous.
Development is necessary but eternal development means development without destruction. Brahma Kumaris are playing an active role with the administration in bringing public awareness through tree plantation, sustainable yogic farming, cleanliness campaign, water conservation etc. The audience present took an oath to actively participate in protection of the earth.

बिलासपुर: शिव अनुराग भवन राजकिशोरनगर मे विश्व पृथ्वी दिवस मनाया गया। ब्रह्माकुमारी मंजू दीदी ने कहा कि सतयुग से अब तक धरती माँ ने हमे एक का हजार गुना देकर बहुत प्यार से पाला है । जब मनुष्य सतोप्रधान थे तभी प्रकृति भी सतोप्रधान सेवक थी। जनसंख्या में बेतहाशा वृद्धि होने और विज्ञान के प्रयोगो के द्वारा धरणी का अतिशय दोहन होने के कारण भूमि कमजोर ही नही जहरीली होती जा रही है। विकास आवश्यक है पर शास्वत विकास अर्थात बिना विनाश के विकास नयी सोच है। ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था ने वृक्षारोपण, शास्वत यौगिक खेती,स्वक्छता अभियान, जल संरक्षण के माध्यम से जन जागरण मे प्रशासन के साथ सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही है। उपस्थित भाई बहनों ने भूमि संरक्षण मे सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाने की शपथ ली। दीदी ने कहा कि प्रतिज्ञा जब संस्कार मे समा जाये तभी सफलता मिलेगी और परमात्मा की शक्ति से प्रकृति पुनः सतोप्रधान बन जाएगी।
