Jamaica ( Caribbean, America ): The Brahma Kumaris in Jamaica celebrated the festival of “Shivratri” in Kingston, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
Dedicated sisters in the organization organised beautiful programs in all three places in the country. The celebrations included talks on the spiritual significance of the festival and how to truly celebrate it, followed by cake cutting ceremonies and peaceful minutes of self-realization.
This festival says a lot about the remarkable distinction between Lord Shankar and God Shiva. The descension of God Shiva, the Supreme Father, brings spiritual light to the whole world and removes the darkness of ignorance. It is a memorial of the rejuvenation of each being through spiritual light and might given by the eternal Parent.
BK Sisters shared their valuable wisdom with the gathering, and everyone experienced being spiritually alive again. The whole gathering celebrated Shivratri as the spiritual birthday of spiritual beings with the spiritual Source of energy entering each one’s life personally, creating a big transformation by bringing spiritual light to each one.
