Brahma Kumaris Celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ : Campaign held for Security Personnel in Ludhiana

Brahma Kumaris Celebrated 75 years of Independance-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, held campaign on the theme ‘Self Empowerment to Nation Empowerment’ for Security Personnel & Public

Ludhiana ( Punjab ): The campaign ‘Self Empowerment to Nation Empowerment’ by the Security Service Wing of Rajayoga Education & Research Foundation, organized a series of events for the Security Personnel and public in Ludhiana, marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to tribute 75 years of India’s Independence. It was headed by Dynamic Trainer and Counsellor E.V. Gireesh, Commander Shiv Singh, Col Ashok Kumar Gulati ( Veteran ), and Yoga Expert Dr. Dinesh Sharma. The campaign aimed to educate the Security Personnel and public about enhancing inner strength, living a stress-free lifestyle, fostering innate qualities to raise morale through the easy practice of Raja Yoga Meditation.

This car rally cum campaign was launched on 7th November, 2021 in Delhi, which includes rallies and Self Empowerment sessions specifically for the Security Personnel and public in general. At Ludhiana, this rally held programs at ITBP Badowal, Charitable Hospital Bajrang Akhada in Ahmedgarh, Juvenile Jail, F2 Raceway in South City, Shivalya Kham Temple in Raikot, and Yoga Institute in Rajguru Nagar. They were given warm welcome by Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana Centre Incharge BK Saraswati.

The honorable dignitaries of the campaign included Chief Guest Harwinder Singh Cheema, DPS Ahmedgarh; Guest of Honor Vikas Tandon, President, MC Ahmedgarh; Bhavnesh Kumar, Central GST officer, Sangrur; Chief Patron Shubhkamna Thappa, President of temple management committee Goldy Takkar, Juvenile Jail Superintendent Tarun Aggarwal, Chief Journalist Mahesh Sharma, President of Social Welfare Club Dr. Sunit Hind, and other eminent personalities.

While sharing his views at ITBP Badowal, Commander Shiv Singh said that depression can be really harmful for defense people as this will not just harm them and the people around but also the Nation as a whole. Therefore, it is important for them to be free from depression issues. Raja Yoga Meditation plays a great role in overcoming depression.

Center Incharge BK Sister Neelam, who present at the occasion, held guided meditation for all.  Commander Shiv Singh, Col Ashok Kumar Gulati, and BK Neelam felicitated Chief Patron Shubhkamna Thappa.

At Charitable Hospital Bajrang Akhada, Ahmedgarh, BK Prof. E.V. Gireesh conducted a seminar ‘Stress Management – The Peaceful Way’. He apprised the audience about the different reasons for stress and the ways to live a stress-free lifestyle. Followed to this, he held a short meditation session for everyone.

In his interview with the journalist from Fastway News and Rajarh TV, BK Prof. E.V. Gireesh said, “The cause of more than 80% of diseases are thoughts of our mind. In other words, most of the diseases today are psychosomatic. Raja Yoga Meditation is about knowing our original self as a soul and experiencing peace, happiness, and bliss by connecting with the Almighty God. With the regular practice of Raja Yoga Meditation, one can bring positivity to their life.

The self-empowerment sessions were also held at F2 Raceway and Yoga Institute in Rajguru Nagar, where BK Dr. Dinesh Sharma was the main speaker.

The message of living a stress-free positive lifestyle to empower the self and the Nation was well shared that availed many security personnel and citizens of Ludhiana.

The campaign was well coordinated in Ludhiana by BK Saraswati, BK Neelam, BK Pawan Batra, BK Happy, and BK Ruchika.

The Brahma Kumaris Security Service Wing rally team and Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana felicitated the dignitaries with godly gifts.
