Abu Road ( Rajasthan ):The 71st Republic Day was celebrated by the Brahma Kumaris in Shantivan with a flag raising ceremony and other festivities. Dadi Ratanmohini, Joint Head of the Brahma Kumaris; Dadi Ishu, Joint Head of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Nirwair, Secretary General of the Brahma Kumaris and BK Munni, Program Director and General Manager of Shantivan were present on this occasion.
The program started with the National Flag raising ceremony, followed by the singing of the National anthem.
Dadi Ratanmohini then addressed the gathering. She said that Bharat is in the process of becoming heaven on earth. Everyone must contribute towards bringing the Golden Age by working sincerely on self transformation.
BK Nirwair also congratulated everyone on this special day. He said that real independence is to get rid of the enslavement of the five senses and become pure. After tireless work by the Brahma Kumaris organization to free mankind of this slavery, he hoped that the day of a superior consciousness would arrive soon.
A parade was organized by Shiv Shakti Sena (BK Sisters from Shantivan) and the Guard of Honour was inspected by the prominent personalities group.
