Hyderabad ( Telangana ): Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar received the “Telangana State Energy Conservation Award 2019” presented by the Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO), Ministry of Energy, Government of Telangana. The award was presented to BK Kuldeep, Director of Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar, by Her Excellency Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Honorable Governor of Telangana State, and G. Jagadish Reddy, Minister for Energy, Telangana State, at a function held at the Institute of Engineers (Viswesvaraya Bhavan) in Hyderabad.
BK Kedar, Project Energy Auditor; Syed Abdul Aleem, Chairmen, TSREDCO; N. Janaiah, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, TSREDCO; D. Prabhakar Rao, CMD, TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO, former Officio Special Chief Secretary; and Ajay Misra, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to Government Energy Department, Telangana State, were also present on the occasion.
These awards were presented for the buildings/establishments located in the State of Telangana for the implementation of systematic energy conservation measures and efficient utilization of energy during the year 2018-19.
