Mumbai ( Maharashtra ):The National Coordinator of Brahma Kumaris Media Wing BK Nikunj was invited as The Guest of Honour to “The Lokmat Maharashtrian of The Year 2022′ , to present awards in two categories.
BK Nikunj met many dignitaries including Rahul Narvekar, Assembly Speaker of Maharashtra, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Forests and invited them to Brahma Kumaris International Head Quarters in Mount Abu.
The Awards Ceremony started with ‘who is who of society’, attended by the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who received the Most Powerful Politician Award. Eminent personalities like Ranveer Singh – Best Actor Male for 83, Kiara Advani – Best Actor Female for Shershaah. Shri.N Chandrasekaran (Chairman TATA Sons) – Visionary Industrialist also attended and was awarded at the event.
Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2022 was a tribute to those who made Maharashtra proud, a celebration of those who shaped the destiny of this great state, and a source of inspiration for Maharashtrians of tomorrow.
A significant number of individuals from many industries such as sports, cinema, science, technology, business, arts, infrastructure, society, politics, and administration were awarded.
The event was co-powered by Maharashtra Shasan and Saraswat bank with associate sponsors being BKT Tyres, MIDC and CIDCO. Lokmat felicitated Nana Patekar for his significant contribution in the Indian Cinema. Rishi Darda, Joint Managing & Editorial Director of Lokmat interviewed Shri.N Chandrasekaran and got some insights on the TATA Sons future plans for Maharashtra. Nana Patekar candidly interviewed Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
