Tyumen, Moscow ( Russia ): On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Tyumen region, in the regional capital, the 80th anniversary of the Day of physical education was celebrated on a special scale. Department of Sport and Youth of the City Administration invited the Brahma Kumaris to participate in this massive holiday. Brahma Kumaris were the only representatives from the yogis of the city on it. The 400th anniversary of Tyumen, which is the central square of the city, these days it has turned into a multifunctional sports training ground, where various types of activities were presented. There was a feeling that all the young families of the city came to this holiday. Many sports sections were represented on the square: a sports relay for children, one-goal football, sports dances, demonstrations by athletes, and much more. Both adults and children could participate. The importance of physical education and sport in society is difficult to overestimate. Strengthening health, sport improves not only the body, but also the spirit. Therefore, around our site was, as always, crowded.
From the happy faces of all those present, one could understand the interest in what we were offering: the Dobroskop games (game with cards of virtues) and the Character of the Winner. Together we recognized the characteristics of the characters of both children and their parents, handed out handmade sweets to the townspeople with the exotic name “Toli”. As always, the most active and curious were the children. With interest and in all seriousness, they played the «Character of the Winner». Satisfied and happy, with toli in their hands and cards on which was precisely their quality of character, they departed from the Brahma Kumaris table.
