BKs from the musical and poetic project «Lira» cultivated the interest of schoolchildren for the best traditions of Russian culture
Tver ( Russia ): An unusual lesson was given for students of the 8th grade in a comfortable assembly hall in the municipal educational institution of Tver Gymnasium No. 10.
The history of the State Maly Theater — from the creation, the middle of the XVIII century, through the Great October Revolution, the Great Patriotic War to the present day — passed before the audience on a big screen in vivid episodes. Maly Theatre positions itself as a traditional drama theatre that produces classical heritage plays, basically performing melodramas and musical comedies of Russian and foreign writers. Maly Theatre employs a staff of over seven hundred, including more than one hundred drama actors. It is the only drama theatre in Russia that has retained a symphony orchestra and a professional choir. The greatness of the Maly Theater is in preserving the cultural and moral heritage of Russia. Short video clips from the performances, romances performed by Vyacheslav Barinov, and the narration of the leading program of Olga Smirnova plunged the students into the special atmosphere of the theater. The performance of one of the romances was accompanied by thunderous applause.
Teachers and students thanked the BK Lira team for an interesting program.
Teachers emphasized that such events develop interest among students in the best traditions of national culture. The program was so successful that one of the presenting teachers asked to immediately repeat this program for students in other classes.
