Patna( Bihar ): The Brahma Kumaris of Bihar, in collaboration with the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry of Government of India, launched its ‘Drug Addiction Free Bihar‘ Campaign. This initiative was taken under the ‘Drug Addiction Free Bharat‘ Campaign of Brahma Kumaris. The ceremony was held at Ravindra Bhawan.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the Honorable Governor of Bihar, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Samir Mahaseth, Minister of Industries, Government of Bihar, Dr. Ravindra Narayan Singh, International Head of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Padmashri, Samrat Choudhary, State Head of BJP in Bihar, were the other distinguished guests present on this occasion. BK Dr. Banarasi Lal Shah, Executive Secretary of Medical Wing and BK Dr. Sachin Parab from Mumbai, Chief Speaker, were also present.
BK Dr. Banarasi Lal Shah, in his welcome speech said that all this work of Deaddiction being done by the Brahma Kumaris, is actually Godly work. Today, behavioral degradation is happening very fast in people. We need spirituality to arrest this. We should try to realize the true nature of our being. Only then can we understand our duties. Blaming governments till then is futile.
BK Dr. Sachin Parab, Chief Speaker, said that the Brahma Kumaris have been working for Deaddiction since the past 30 years. Their ‘Global Initiative For Tobacco Awareness’ went to 180 countries. Rajyoga Meditation lifestyle not only helps in Deaddiction, but keeps many diseases at bay. It also helps in character development. This campaign aims to make schools and colleges drug free. Special attention will be paid to the youth under this through counseling and teaching meditation techniques.
BK Sangeeta, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Patna, said that practice of Rajyoga Meditation makes our mindset positive. This gives courage to leave drug addiction.

स्वागत भाषण में डॉ बनारसी लाल साह जी ने कहा भारत को नशामुक्त बनाने का प्रोग्राम मनुष्य का नहीं है, ये काम स्वयं परमात्मा का है क्योंकि ये भारत जो सोने की चिड़िया थी, देवभूमि थी इस देवभूमि में रहने वालों की दशा क्या हो गई है? गलत रास्ते पर हमारा बहाव तेजी से हो रहा है, इसके लिए आध्यात्म के द्वारा सब के जीवन में जागरूकता लानी होगी। जब तक हम स्वयं को नहीं पहचानेंगे तब तक अपने कर्तव्यों का रियलाइजेशन भी नहीं होगा और हम सरकार के ऊपर, समाज के ऊपर ब्लेम डालते रहेंगे।
वहीं डॉ सचिन परब जी ने कहा ब्रह्माकुमारीज 30 वर्षों से नशामुक्ति की सेवा कर रहा है। इसका राष्ट्रीय प्रोजेक्ट है “मेरा भारत नशामुक्त भारत” इसकी लॉन्चिंग 2013 में पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ प्रतिभा देवीसिंह पाटिल जी के द्वारा की गई। ब्रह्माकुमारीज का ग्लोबल इनिशिएटिव फॉर टोबैको अवेयरनेस प्रोजेक्ट 180 देशों तक पहुंचा। राजयोग मेडिटेशन लाइफस्टाइल केवल नशा नहीं छुड़ाती बल्कि बहुत से बिमारियों को ठीक करने वा रोकने में भी सहायता करती है। इससे मनुष्य का चारित्रिक विकास होता है। ये MoU 3 साल का है। इसके तहत विशेष नशा रोकने के लिए विशेष फोकस स्कूल, कॉलेज, युवा वर्ग पर दिया जा रहा है। हम स्कूल, कॉलेज को Drug Free, Tobacco Free करेंगे as per guideline. जो छोड़ना चाहते हैं उनको काउंसलिंग और मेडिटेशन सिखायेंगे।
पटना सबजोन मुख्य सेवाकेंद्र की संचालिका राजयोगिनी संगीता दीदी जी ने बताया कि राजयोग मेडिटेशन का निरंतर अभ्यास किस प्रकार हमारे सोच को बदल कर सदा के लिए सकारात्मक बनाता है और व्यक्ति को ना सिर्फ नशे से बल्कि हर प्रकार की नकारात्मकता से दूर रखता है। दीदी जी ने आगे बताया की कैंसर जैसी भयानक बीमारी से मरीज का परिवार इतना परेशान नहीं होता जितना एक नशे करने वाले व्यक्ति का परिवार उसकी इस आदत से त्रस्त होता है।
