Guwahati ( Assam ): Professor Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam, expressed his grief over the demise of the spiritual head of the Brahma Kumaris Rajyogini Dadi Janki who passed away in Global Hospital, in Mount Abu, on Friday.
In his condolence message, Prof. Mukhi termed Dadi Janki as a dedicated social worker who made all efforts for the cause of humanity. Terming her demise as great loss to the nation, Prof. Mukhi said, “The country has lost a social worker, a spiritual leader and a true humanitarian whose laudable actions and words of wisdom encouraged many lives.” She was a symbol of strength for women who focused primarily to a higher purpose of self and contributed to the creation of a better world. Her death ‘is an irreparable loss to the nation’. He also prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
