Akluj, Solapur ( Maharashtra ): The Brahma Kumaris of Akluj in the Solapur District of Maharashtra distributed food and essentials to the local people dealing with the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, they advised people to wear masks and observe cleanliness, ensuring self and public safety in these pandemic days.
BK Shivratri, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris center in Akluja, along with other members of the Brahma Kumaris fraternity and some social workers, provided this service. They also introduced people to the concept of using Meditation to keep calm in stressful conditions.
