“Bye Bye Diabetes” De-addiction Awareness Programs by Brahma Kumaris Bhinmal

Bhinmal ( Rajasthan ): The Campaign “My Rajasthan, Prosperous Rajasthan” which rallyed throughout the State of Rajasthan was cordially received by the local Brahma Kumaris members of Bhinmal at Magh Square with high spirits.

At Kavi Magh Middle School the children learned about the Aim and Objective of this project. Then the members were divided into teams. They visited the Aadarsh Girls’ Higher Middle School, the Aadarsh Higher Middle School, the Aadarsh Vidya Mandir Girls’ Higher Middle School, and the Aadarsh Vidya Mandir Higher Middle School, where the children were given knowledge on Complete Cleanliness in Bhinmal, Water and Energy Conservation, Rural Development, and De-addiction and Farmer’s Empowerment. Programs to awaken the public on these aspects were conducted. At Khetawat Seva Sadan, a program on “Bye Bye Diabetes” was arranged in which people in a large number participated.

At the same time, a team visited Ook Singh B. Ed. College and Sunddha Mata Mandir B. Ed. and Nursing College, where BK Kedar from Latur in Maharashtra taught the gathering about how we can help our Family, Village, State and our Country prosper by Conservation of electricity, petrol, diesel and gas. He conveyed this message by small video clips in a pleasant atmosphere. Those present in the program were very impressed and convinced; they promised to save these products from now on, and lend their cooperation for National progress.

BK Asha, Ajmer Centre in Charge and also Leader of the Campaign, explained the Aim and Objective of this Project, encouraging zeal and enthusiasm among people.

Some of the participants shared their experiences. Principal Mr. Pukhraj Bohra and Principal Mr. Shankarlal and Vice Principals addressed the audience. They were all praise for the Members of the Campaigning Team.

Simultaneously, a program was arranged at Kshemkari Mata B.Ed. College. BK Keerthi and BK Shail along with their Team went to the Farmer’s Agricultural Market and enlightened the businessmen with some important suggestions for the Rural Village Development. In the evening a public program was arranged at Khetlaji Temple in Neemgoriya which was attended by Mr. Sanwala Ram Dewasi, the Municipal Chairman; Dr. Shrawan Modi; Mr. Sardarsingh Opawat and Mr. G. M. Parmar as Guests.

Another program was at the Nahar Hospital for Prevention of Heart Diseases. BK Dr. Rashmi and BK Vinod from Kurukshetra were the speakers on the subject.

On these occasions BKs Sunita, Shail, Sandhya, Malati, Suman, Gunjan, Keerthi, Jyoshna, Komal, Janaki, Anjali and Bhuri Mata, Paasu Mata, Radha Mata and BKs Laxman, Ganesh, Kalu, Suresh, Purohit, Bhavesh and Honourable Citizens of Bhinmal were present.
