3 Ways to Build a Strong Sense of Self : Online Talk on April 28

Life is often challenging and full of surprises. How do we achieve such a strong sense of self that we can deal with feelings of uncertainty and overwhelm?

Carolin Fraude works for a transdisciplinary research institute in Germany in the project “A Mindset for the Anthropocene”. She holds a Diploma in Education Science and studied philosophy, social science and psychology at the Free University Berlin. Her research interests include designing processes and spaces engaging with people’s consciousness, beliefs, values and worldviews, understood as leverage points for transformation towards a sustainable society. Since 1998 Carolin practices Raja Yoga meditation. She co-leads the Brahma Kumaris Center in Berlin and coordinates BK activities nationally. Since 2013 she has been a delegate to UN conferences such as the Commission on the Status of Women and UN Climate Change Conferences. Carolin’s special interest lies in the interconnectedness of inner and outer transformation, e.g. how transforming and cultivating states of consciousness, attitudes, behaviors and lifestyles can support the transition towards a sustainable society. As an NGO delegate she brings these perspectives to the UNFCCC processes since 2015.
