“Need for Spirituality in Media” Program by Brahma Kumaris, Aligarh

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh): The Brahma Kumaris center in Aligarh organized a program called the “Need of Spirituality in Media.” The guests on the stage included editor of Dainik Swaraj Mr. Ratan Vaarshnaye, Legislator Anil Parashar’s wife Mrs. Hemlata Parashar, Former additional Information director Mr. Yatish Chandra Gupta, Veteran press photographer Mr. Shyam Sunder Sharma, BK Kamlesh and BK Satya Prakash.

BK Kamlesh said that spirituality in media is the need of the hour. Media professionals work hard but most of their energy is spent in making negative news. The result of which is stress, discontent and strained relations in their own lives. If they bring spirituality into their lives, it will automatically reflect in their work and contribute good to the society.

BK Satya Prakash acknowledged the journalists of Aligarh, who have been working in consonance with the Brahma Kumaris for a long time. Its effect is easily visible in the quality of Journalism in the area.

Mr. Vaarshnaye said that he finds Madhuban in Mount Abu to be heaven on earth.  Mrs. Hemlata talked about her association with the organization and how it gives her peace and happiness.  BK Kamlesh apprised everyone about the personality of Jagadamba Saraswati, the divine mother figure of the Brahma Kumaris, as it was her remembrance day.
