AIM & OBJECT 

The God of Gita incarnates himself at the time of extreme unrighteousness in order to destroy evil and establish true dharma. Through the spiritual sermon of the Gita, God created deities & they flourished. The Gita does not give inspiration for a violent war. It is a treatise on yoga, not war. Violence is contrary to the basic tenet of ancient India’s divine society, ‘Ahimsa paramodharmah’.

ELIGIBILITY

Gita scholars from around the world with at least 2 years of research work. Others interested can participate with prior permission. Members of sponsor institutions cannot participate.

BEST PAPER APPRECIATION AWARDS & COMMENDATIONS

1 First Award – Rs 4,00,000

2 Second Awards – Rs 2,00,000

3 Third Awards – Rs 1,00,000

5 Consolation Awards – Rs 50,000

Winners from abroad will be paid the equivalent amount in foreign currency. • Winners will also be given commendation certificates • The award ceremony will be held at Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi. • The winners will be felicitated at the All-India Bhagavad Gita Sammelan to be held during  September 3-7,2022 at the Shantivan campus of Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu, Rajasthan.

GUIDELINES

Research papers (typed) can be submitted in Hindi, English or Sanskrit. 2. There is no word limit. 3. The covering note, duly signed, should have your contact details. A recent passport-size photo & a copy of your Adhaar card (for Indian nationals only) are also to be submitted. 4. The research papers are to be submitted as PDF files of less than 10 MB & emailed to gitaresearch@bkivv.org. 5. The last date for submission is 21 June, 2022 (International Day of Yoga)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The winner shall be chosen on the basis of originality of ideas, and creativity. 2. One person can submit only one paper. 3. The papers will be examined by a five-member experts committee, whose decision will be final. 4. The sponsors will have copyright on all the entries submitted. 5. Any participant not following the submission guidelines will be disqualified. 6. All content should be original. Research papers with plagiarised content will be disqualified.

शोध पत्रों का विषय रहेगा:

भगवद्गीता में वर्णित युद्ध हिंसक नहीं था

महाभारत का हिंसक युद्ध इससे भिन्न था

अथवा

गीता का भगवान सर्वव्यापी नहीं हो सकता

गीता के भगवान को सिद्ध करने हेतु यह एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम सिद्ध होगा।
