Delhi: The Medical Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation of the Brahma Kumaris launched a state-level Campaign “Holistic Well-Being: A Way of Life” at the Army College of Medical Sciences in Delhi Cantt. It was a week-long campaign from September 25 to 30, 2019, in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
As a part of this campaign, about 105 programmes, benefiting more than 8,000 medical Professionals, was organized in Delhi – NCR, covering all parts of Delhi and the adjoining areas, including Moradabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Sonepat, Faridabad and Hodal.
Progammes were conducted in various hospitals, medical colleges, nursing homes, and schools.
The total number of programmes during the Campaign are 105.
The total number of medical professionals who took benefit from the campaign are 8,482.
Various senior medical professionals — including medical superintendents of various hospitals, deans of medical colleges, vice presidents of companies, and heads of companies — were present in many of the programmes conducted, spanning the whole capital region.
During the sessions, participants realized the importance of Holistic Well-Being. They accepted spirituality and meditation as an easy and practical tool to implement values in healthcare establishments, while handling patients, thus creating a positive impact on the healing industry as well. Beneficiaries also experienced the power of meditation through live demonstration of Rajayoga and pledged to be duty-bound, loyal, honest and compassionate in all dealings and to incorporate values in professional life. A value band with various values mentioned on it was given to each participant, which they wore, which shall serve as a gentle reminder of the pledge taken. This activity was received with full enthusiasm.
