Bahal ( Haryana): The Agriculture Minister of Haryana, J. P. Dalal, paid a visit to Bahal service center of Brahma Kumaris, on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami festival. BK Shakuntala, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Bahal and BK Poonam, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Dhigawa Mandi, welcomed the Minister with ’tilak’, badge and bouquet of flowers. BK Ashok felicitated the dignitary with a shawl.
J. P. Dalal, Minister of Agriculture in Haryana Government, greeted BK Shakuntala with a box of sweets on this festive occasion. The Minister said that all religions venerate this land called Bharat. Lord Krishna rules the hearts of crores of Indians. He said that it is his good fortune that he is getting the affection and blessings of BK sisters on such a day.
The Minister inaugurated the Janamashtami celebrations at the center with a candle lighting ceremony. He also participated in the cake cutting ceremony and offered it as ‘ Bhog’ or offering to Lord Krishna. He also rocked the cradle of Baby Krishna as per the custom. Child artists presented cultural performances. A book titled ‘ Chintan Ke Chirag’ by BK Shakuntala was also released by the Minister at this event. BK Shakuntala presented the dignitary with a picture of Lord Krishna and Godly literature.
