Jodhpur ( Rajasthan ): A Swachh Bharat Summer Internship program was organized by the Nehru Youth Center Group and the Youth Programs and Sports Ministry, Government of India, at Jodhpur Medical College. Union Cabinet Minister Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ministry of water power, felicitated cleanliness ambassador BK Shailesh from the Tonk district.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Shekhawat urged the youth of today to make their contribution in this transformative time for Bharat.
BK Shailesh said that the organization he represents, under the able guidance of its head Dadi Janki, who is the brand ambassador of the Swachh Bharat campaign, works tirelessly to clean the minds of people with Rajayoga to bring in a new world. Only a clean mind can keep its surroundings clean.
Dr. Bhuvnesh Jain, state director of the Nehru Youth center, NYKS, coordinated the felicitation of these cleanliness ambassadors with a monetary prize and letter of appreciation by Mr. Gajendra Shekhawat. They were recognized for their year-long efforts in spreading cleanliness awareness and initiatives in their respective areas.
Coordinator of NYKS Jodhpur, Mr. Shyam Sunder Joshi, social activists from various groups, NCC Cadets, Scouts and students also participated in this event.

नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन, युवा कार्यक्रम एवं खेल मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की ओर से स्वच्छ भारत ग्रीष्म प्रशिक्षुता (स्वच्छ भारत समर इन्टर्नशिप) कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत जोधपुर के मेडिकल काॅलेज सभागार में माननीय केन्द्रीय मंत्री, जल शक्ति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार गजेन्द्र सिंह शेखावत ने स्वच्छता दूत टोंक जिले के चारनेट गांव में रहने वाले बी के शैलेश कुमार को सम्मानित किया तथा कोटि-कोटि बधाई दी युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि यह बदलता भारत हैं इस बदलाव के युग में प्रत्येक युवा अपना योगदान दें
इस मौके पर बी के शैलेश कुमार ने कहा की मैं एक ऐसे संगठन से जुड़ा हूं जिसके माध्यम से स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की ब्रांड एंबेसडर एवं प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय की मुख्य प्रशासिका आदरणीय दादी जानकी जी के नेतृत्व में पूरे विश्व को स्वच्छ पवित्र व निर्मल बनाने का श्रेष्ठ कार्य किया जा रहा है उनका कहना है की अपने मन को स्वच्छ बना कर ही बाहरी वातावरण को स्वच्छ बनाया जा सकता है
नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन के राज्य निर्देशक डाॅ भुवनेश जैन ने बताया कि इस मौके पर प्रदेश भर से पधारें नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन (एनवाईकेएस) से जुड़े स्वच्छ भारत ग्रीष्म प्रशिक्षुता के वर्ष भर बेहतरीन कार्य करने वाले चयनित छात्र-छात्राओं अर्थात् स्वच्छता के इन राजदूतों का नकद राशि व प्रशस्ति पत्र से माननीय गजेन्द्र सिंह शेखावत के हाथों सम्मान कराया गया। सम्मानित होने वाले इन स्टूडेन्ट्स ने साल भर अपने इलाको, मुहल्ले व क्षेत्र में लोगों को जागरूक कर सफाई का सराहनीय कार्य किया था।
नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन जोधपुर के संयोजक श्याम सुन्दर जोशी ने कहा कि समारोह में प्रदेश भर से पधारें जनप्रतिनिधिगण, षिक्षाविद्, विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों के समाजसेवी, प्रबुद्धजन व स्वच्छता से जुड़े राज्य स्तर के एनवाईकेएस कार्यकर्ता, कई स्कूलों के विद्यार्थिगण, एनसीसी केडेट्स, स्काउट, व गाइड मौजूद रहे।
