Brahma Kumaris Felicitated on International Women’s Day in Dhamtari

Dhamtari ( Chhattisgarh ): On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Dhamtari Mahavir Inter-Continental Organization, Padmavati Mahila Shakha, felicitated BK Sarita, Incharge of the Brahma Kumaris center in Dhamtari. At this event, Head of the Jain Samaj, Sushil Nahar, along with other members of the committee were also present.

BK Sarita shared about how woman needs to keep herself empowered in today’s unpredictable world.

The Brahma Kumaris service center of Dhamtari held a seminar on the topic “Woman as the Guardian of Values, Health and Cleanliness.” Ms. Gunjan Sahu, Head of Janpath Panchayat Dhamtari, was the Chief Guest on this occasion.  Ms. Sangeeta Aggrawal, Yoga and music teacher; Ms. Sushila Tiwari, Councillor, Vivekanand Ward Dhamtari; BK Saras, Rajyoga Teacher, and BK Sarita, In-charge of the local Brahma Kumaris center, were also present.

BK Sarita, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Dhamtari, while speaking on this occasion, said that woman is the Supreme creation of nature. She is the nurturer and giver of values in the family.  Today’s woman should take care of her diet, rest, and exercise in order to feel good. Spirituality gives inner beauty and power.  The Brahma Kumaris Organization teaches self knowledge and how to remain conscious of it at all times.  More than 50,000 fully dedicated Brahma Kumari sisters today are rendering exemplary services all over the world.  This is a proud moment for all women.

Ms. Sangeeta Aggrawal, Yoga and music teacher of Dhamtari, said that the menfolk should not be seen as competitors, but in a spirit of cooperation.  Every woman can become empowered starting from wherever she is placed.

Ms. Sushila Tiwari, Councillor, Vivekananda Ward Dhamtari,  said that the women of every age had their achievements.  Every place where woman is venerated is heaven.

BK Sarita was felicitated by the Lions Club, Mahila Samaj, and Inner Wheel Club Dhamtari.  The guests were presented with Godly gifts.  BK Jagriti co coordinated the program.
