‘Youth For Global Peace’ Program by Brahma Kumaris Hathras

Hathras (Uttar Pradesh): The Brahma Kumaris service center of Anandpuri Colony in Hathras held a program for youth empowerment at Premchand Seva Kendra in the nearby village of Lehra. Held under the ‘Youth For Global Peace’ Campaign of the Youth Wing of Brahma Kumaris,  it was attended by educationists, youth and other people of the village.

Professor Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, while addressing the gathering as Chief Guest,  said that today the Youth is becoming self destructive. It is going towards drugs and gambling.  The reason behind this is the lack of sensitivity in them. The Brahma Kumaris sisters will have to work towards increasing sensitivity amongst the youth. Only then can a solution be found.

Gulab Chandra Sharma, Former Spokesman,  while expressing his good wishes,  said that the Brahma Kumaris Organization connects people to God. To reap results,  good values need to be put to practice in everyday life.

BK Shanta gave her address as the Chief Speaker.  She said that moral values are falling by the day in today’s world.  Efforts for self transformation and that of others need to continue.

BK Neetu said that if we recognize the fact that all religions are paths leading to the same Supreme Soul,  divisions in the society will heal.

Dance dramas on themes of women empowerment and drug de-addiction were presented before the audience.  BK Durgesh conducted a Rajayoga Meditation session.

Many prominent people of the area along with the villagers attended this program.
