“World Peace Day” Interfaith Ceremony in Tezu

Tezu (Arunachal Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris Meditation Centre (BMC) observed the 52nd ascension ceremony of Brahma Baba, who was the founder of the spiritual institute, as ‘World Peace Day.’

The ceremony dwelt on world peace where leaders from different faiths enthusiastically participated. Representatives from the Christian, Sikh, Hindu and Indigenous Faith spoke on the essence of peace and its requirement in the current context.

Deputy Commissioner Lohit Marge Sora as chief guest said that peace will prevail only if we all come together and extend our hands selflessly to serve mankind. He also lauded the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Centre for promoting peace, irrespective of religion or caste.  In-charge of the center BK Jayanti underscored that peace is a prerequisite for health, overall growth and co-existence of human beings. “Rajayoga meditation is the easy method to relish your mind and body,” she emphasized.

DFO S Manyu, professors from IGGC Dr. MK Jana and SK Pradhan, priests from Shiva and Kali mandirs, and RSS Pracharak K Thakare were among others who participated in the ceremony.
