World Earth Day Observed with Awareness Drive by Brahma Kumaris

Hathras ( Uttar Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris Hathras observed World Earth Day by conducting an awareness drive at the local Lord Krishna public school. The focus of this program was on water conservation and environment protection. Water is a precious resource, as by 2030 half of India will face water scarcity issues.

Addressing the school children, in charge of Brahma Kumaris Hathras, Sister Shanta, said that the five elements which make our environment are what makes a human being as well. So if we want to be healthy, these must be protected. Today, the environment crisis is a reflection of the mental crisis of the man inhabiting this planet. If the internal condition of man improves with meditation, the planet’s health will automatically be taken care of.

With the help of a documentary, videos and pictures, BK Dinesh explained water conservation to the students. He talked about water memory and its capacity to absorb positive and negative vibrations. Hence, it must be handled sensitively with the respect it deserves.

The Water Department at the Brahma Kumaris Headquarters in Mount Abu regularly conducts water conservation awareness campaigns through the medium of digital exhibitions, videos and pictures. Schools, colleges, administrative offices, villages and hospitals are covered to make the information and methods available to every citizen.
