Abu Road (Rajasthan): On the eve of the 95th birthday of Rajayogini Dadi Ratan Mohiniji, Joint Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, 18,000 candles lit simultaneously at a single venue was achieved by the Brahma Kumaris (India) in Diamond Hall, Brahma Kumaris Shantivan Campus, Abu Road, Rajasthan, India, on April 3, 2019. The event was supported by BK Mruthyunjaya, BK Leelavati, BK Laxmi, BK Dr. Dipak Harke, and BK Suvarna.
Mr. Ashwin Trivedi, Gujarat Head, World Book of Records, presented the certificate to Rajayogini Dadi Ratanmohini. BK Nirwair, General Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Dr. Dipak Harke and BK Suvarna were present.
The previous record of most candles lit simultaneously at a single venue was 12,135 and was achieved by the Art of Living Foundation Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad, on November 13, 2012.
