Bengaluru ( Karnataka ): Summer Camp was organized for children of the age group 8 to 14 years for 3 days at Jayanagar 5th Block Centre, Bengaluru. The objective of the camp was to teach values to children and make them to realize the hidden power and skills within them.
Different topics were covered in these three days sessions such as “I am great”, Values in Family & Friends, Science corner, Soul, God and Meditation, Self Esteem, Confidence, Healthy Lifestyle, Moral Stories, Yogasanas, Fun dance etc.
Various competitions like singing, painting, bookmarks, spiritual Value games and quiz on three days sessions were conducted on the last day. Prizes were distributed for the best performances in competition.
Also, special peace prize was given to the Best Student based on their behaviour, neatness of notes, creativity and active participation in all sessions during the summer camp.
Group captain Mr. SV Kumar, retired IAS officer & Sister Nivedita All India rank 303 in civil examination 2018 gave their presence and inspired children by their speech.
Centre In charge BK Kalyani inspired children and parents to inculcate values, adopt spirituality and become valuable all the time.
Around 100 children attended this camp.
