“Role of Spirituality in preventing and curing diseases” : World Cancer Day Program in Mohali

Mohali ( Punjab ): World Cancer day was observed at Brahma Kumaris, Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Mohali, with more than 200 people in attendance.

BK Aditi highlighted the role of healthy diet, exercise, and above all spirituality in preventing and curing various diseases such as cancer.

Dr. Budhi Singh Yadav, Professor of Radiation Oncology from PGIMER (Post Graduate Institue of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh), Chandigarh, was the main speaker in the program. In his keynote address, he dispelled various myths about cancer and said that late diagnosis is the main reason in India for cancer deaths. Basically it is a Lifestyle-related problem, which is aggravated by the accumulation of toxins in the body. Cancer is also related to stress. People start smoking and drinking due to stress. Alcohol is a deadly poison that also leads to liver cancer and other types of cancer. Questions from the audience related to the disease were answered satisfactorily by Dr. Budhi Singh Yadav.

BK Suman faced the same disease a few months back, so she shared her experience with the audience how Rajyoga Meditation helped her a lot to keep herself highly positive during the disease and her healing.

Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Dr. Rama shared her closing inspirations along with a deep experience of Rajyoga Meditation with the audience.
