Shastripuram, Agra ( Uttar Pradesh ): As part of the ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence, to ensure the protection of the land, to inculcate spiritual values and to support many of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, a new project ‘Kalp Taruh’ has been started by Brahma Kumaris. With the support of thousands of centers of Brahma Kumaris, the plan is to encourage at least 75 people to plant herbal plant or fruit plant. The target is to successfully plant more than 40 lakh saplings by 40 lakh people within these 75 days following the principle of ‘1 person, 1 plant for 1 planet’.
This project started on 5th June 2022 (50th World Environment Day) and will end on 25 August 2022 (Celebrated worldwide by Brahma Kumaris as ‘Universal Brotherhood Day’). Under the Kalptaru project, a tree plantation program was organized today at Shastripuram center, under which everyone resolved to plant at least one tree. The program was conducted by center in-charge BK Madhu.
BK Shailendra gave detailed information about the goal of this project and its implementation. BK Ashok Gaba, C A Sharad Paliwal(Ex-Chairman of ICAI), Shri Radheshyam( founder of shivansh foundation) , K D Paliwal, Sushil Yadav, C A Sudeep Jain, Rohit Dua, Indresh Pratap Sing, Dr. Suman Gupta, BK Deepak Bhai, Sushil Bhai, Avinash Chand etc. were included as guests.
At the end of the program, all the guests together planted a tree and a total of 75 saplings were planted as well as registration of these trees was done by downloading Kalpataru Android App. On this occasion, apart from the members of Brahma Kumaris, many invited citizens were also present, who took part in this tree plantation program and all of them showed themselves to be responsible citizens by taking the responsibility of maintaining a tree.

भारतीय स्वतंत्रता के 75 साल पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में ‘आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ समारोह के हिस्से के रूप में, भूमि की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों का विकास करने के लिए और संयुक्त राष्ट्र के कई सतत विकास लक्ष्यों का समर्थन करने के लिए, ब्रह्मा कुमारियां द्वारा एक नई परियोजना ‘कल्प तरुह’ का शुभारम्भ किया गया है।
ब्रह्मा कुमारियों के हजारों केंद्रों के सहयोग से,हमारी योजना कम से कम 75 लोगों को हर हर्बल पौधे या फलदार पौधे लगाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने की है। हमारा लक्ष्य ‘1 ग्रह के लिए 1 व्यक्ति, 1 पौधा’ के सिद्धांत का पालन करते हुए इन 75 दिनों के भीतर 40 लाख लोगों द्वारा 40 लाख से अधिक पौधों का सफल रोपण करना है।
यह प्रोजेक्ट 5 जून 2022 (50 वें विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस) से शुरू होकर और 25 अगस्त 2022 को समाप्त होगा (ब्रह्मा कुमारियों द्वारा दुनिया भर में ‘यूनिवर्सल ब्रदरहुड डे’ के रूप में मनाया जाता है।)
आगरा शास्त्रीपुरम सेवाकेंद्र पर मातेश्वरी जगदम्बा का 57th स्मृति दिवस मनाया गया साथ ही कल्पतरुह प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत वृक्षारोपण का कार्यक्रम भी किया गया जिसके अंतर्गत कम से कम एक वृक्ष लगाने का सभी ने संकल्प किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी बी के मधु बहन ने किया, ब्रह्मा कुमार शैलेंद्र भाई ने इस प्रोजेक्ट के लक्ष्य एवं इसके क्रियान्वयन के बारे में विस्तृत रूप से जानकारी दी। कई अतिथियों के रूप में शामिल रहे भ्राता अशोक गाबा जी, सी ए शरद पालीवाल(Ex Chairman of ICAI),श्री राधेश्याम(founder of shivansh foundation) ,K D Paliwal,sushil yadav,C A Sudeep Jain,Rohit Dua,Indresh Pratap Singh,डॉ सुमन गुप्ता, बी के दीपक भाई, सुशील भाई,भ्राता अविनाश चंद आदि।
कार्यक्रम के अंत मे सभी अतिथियों और भाई बहनो ने मिलकर वृक्षारोपण किया तथा कुल मिलाकर के 75 पौधों का रोपण किया गया साथ ही कल्पतरु एंड्राइड ऐप डाउनलोड करके इन वृक्षों का रजिस्ट्रेशन भी किया गया। इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के सदस्यों के अतिरिक्त कई आमंत्रित नागरिक भी उपस्थित थे जिन्होंने इस वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया तथा सभी ने एक वृक्ष के संपूर्ण पालना की जिम्मेवारी लेकर के एक प्रकृति रक्षक जिम्मेदार नागरिक होने का परिचय दिया।
