Telangana Governor Launches Brahma Kumaris Women’s Wing Project “Hope, Happiness and Harmony”

Hyderabad ( Telangana ):  The Women’s Wing of the Brahma Kumaris launched a project titled ‘Hope, Happiness and Harmony’ in a grand way at Global Peace Auditorium, Brahma Kumaris – Shanti Sarovar, Hyderabad, for which Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Honorable Governor of Telangana, was the Chief Guest.

This launching program was inaugurated by the Governor with a candle lighting and was organised on a large scale in a creative way with the participation of more than 2,500 audience (mainly women) and many eminent dignitaries from various walks of life.

While addressing the audience, the Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said that “We need to be determined by both body and mind in order to achieve what we want.”

Rajayogini BK Chakradhari, Chairperson, Women’s Wing of the Brahma Kumaris, and Rajayogini BK Kuldeep, In-charge of the Brahma Kumaris, Hyderabad, gave blessings on the occasion.

Highlights of the event included inspirational talks by top dignitaries; live motivational experiences by Arunima Sinha, Padmashree Awardee and First Women Amputee Climber of Mt. Everest; Cultural presentations by Gracy Singh, IIFA awardee, Bollywood actress, Mumbai, and Devnar Blind School children: pulling of bus with her hair by Rani, Guinness World Recorder, and Puller of Trucks with Hair, Asia book of Records holder; Values fair; Guided Meditation experience, and Creative project launching.

M. Jagadeeshwar, IAS, Principal Secretary, WD&CW department, Government of Telangana; Rama Devi, dynamic President, Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India; Ranjana Kumar, former Vigilance Commissioner, CVC; and Dr. BK Savita, HQ Coordinator, Women’s Wing, Mt. Abu, were the guests of honor for the event.
