Cancer Awareness Rally by Brahma Kumaris at Its Headquarters

Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): On the occasion of World Cancer Day, a one-kilometer-long awareness rally was taken out by Brahma Kumaris on the Shantivan premises and Talhati area. A large number of members of Brahma Kumaris carried banners and posters on cancer prevention in this rally.

Dr. Pratap Midha, Director of Global Hospital and Research Center, showed the green flag to this rally. Speaking on this occasion, he said that Rajyoga Meditation is that wonderful medicine that can save people from diseases such as cancer. It increases positivity in our system and counters negativity, which is the cause of all diseases.  Everyone must adopt Rajyoga in their lives to stay disease-free.

BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris,  said that we can prevent cancer with a proper daily routine and by being Self Conscious (Soul Conscious).

Dr. Satish Gupta, a Cardiologist, said that balance is very important in life. We need to develop good eating habits. Only then can we prevent cancer.

Dr. Banarasi Lal Shah, Secretary of the Medical Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation,  said that today cancer has spread all over the world.  In addition to food and lifestyle,  we need to take care of our mental health as well. We should incorporate salads, green vegetables, and dry fruits into our diet.

Important health-related tips were also given to those participating in the rally, and social distancing norms were followed throughout. BK Mohan Singhal, Head of the Scientist and Engineers Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation; BK Shukla, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Harinagar, Delhi; BK Bhanu, BK Amardeep, BK Mohan, BK Dheeraj, BK Ramsukh Mishra, and BK Sachin were also present on this occasion.

This initiative was taken under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Se Swarnim Bharat ki Ore’ Project of Brahma Kumaris in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism,  Government of India.
