Brahma Kumaris meet President, Vice President and Prime Minister of Guyana

Georgetown, Guyana ( South America ): Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips received a visit from two members of the Brahma Kumaris, in observance of the Hindu festival of colours, Holi.BK Kinnari Murthy and BK Sita Narine, who had a brief discussion with Prime Minister Phillips in his office, also presented him with sweetmeats.

BK Kinnari Murthy and BK Sita Narine also met with the President Mohamed Irfaan Ali and the Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo together in the president’s chamber. They shared about the spiritual significance of Holi and the services that can offered by the Brahma Kumaris to them and their staff.

The Brahma Kumaris is a spiritual movement that originated in Hyderabad in the 1930s. It has a network of 8500 centres in more than 110 countries, including Guyana.
