Brahma Kumaris Gwalior Celebrate International Dance Day

Gwalior ( Madhya Pradesh ): A dance competition was held to mark International Dance Day at the Brahma Kumaris Madhavganj center in Gwalior. The program was inaugurated with a lamp lighting ceremony by BK Adarsh, Head of the Brahma Kumaris Gwalior; Namrata Rewarikar, Kathak Dance teacher from Gwalior Glory School; and Kathak Dancers Saumya Mishra, Uma Chauhan and Deepak Yadav.

Expressing her joy and gratitude on the occasion, BK Adarsh talked about the significance of dance. She shared moral and spiritual facts with the assembled children. Behavioural mannerisms which are pleasing and respectful were also shared with the young audience. A Rajayoga meditation session was also held.

The occasion saw children dance to devotional and spiritual songs to their heart’s content. Their performances were judged by a team of judges and suitably rewarded as well. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the function and expressed good wishes.
