Indore ( Madhya Pradesh): The Brahma Kumaris of Indore held a Blood Donation Camp to mark the 5th Remembrance Day of Rajyogi BK Om Prakash, Former Media Wing Head of the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation and Former Regional Director of the Indore Zone of Brahma Kumaris.
Dr. Sanjay Dixit, Dean of MGM Medical College, while speaking on this occasion said that even one unit of blood can give life to someone, which is a very good deed. We must always work for a good cause.
BK Hemlata, Zonal Coordinator of Brahma Kumaris in Indore, said that making available something to someone, who is in need of it, is called donation. Blood donation is a great donation, as it can only be attempted by those who have human welfare at their heart.
Dr. Sadhana Sorani, Director of Sampoorna Diagnostic center, said that we doctors cure the physical diseases, whereas the Brahma Kumaris sisters cure the mental diseases. They take away stress and tensions from people’s lives, and give them peace and happiness. This is a great need of this time.
Dr. Satish Joshi, IMA Head, said that human service is the best service. In that, blood donation is the supreme service. Anyone within the age group of 18 to 60 years can do this service.
Dr. Ashok Yadav, Blood Bank Manager at MY Hospital, and Dr. Amit Solanki, Eye specialist at Vinayak Netralya, also expressed their good wishes.
Dr. Nitin Ajmera along with the team of the Blood Bank from MY Hospital, contributed wholeheartedly in this initiative. Dr. Girish Tiwari and Dr. Sangeet Tiwari were also present and donated blood as well.
BK Usha, Zonal Coordinator of the Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris, gave the vote of thanks. Dr. Shilpa Desai coordinated this program. The MY Hospital Team was able to collect around 40 Units of blood from the Brahma Kumaris family.

कार्यक्रम में अपने विचार रखते हुए सम्पूर्ण डायग्नोस्टिक सेंटर की डायरेक्टर डाॅ. साधना सोड़ानी ने कहां कि हम डाॅक्टर शरीर का ईलाज करते है और ब्रह्माकुमारी बहनें मन का ईलाज करती है। लोगों के जीवन से तनाव दूर कर शांति, खुशी देती है जो आज के युग की बहुत बड़ी जरूरत है। आई. एम. ए. के अध्यक्ष डाॅ. सतीश जोशी ने कहा कि मानव सेवा सबसे बड़ी सेवा है और उसमें भी रक्त दान करना विशेष सेवा है। 18 से 60 वर्ष की उम्र तक हर व्यक्ति यह सेवा कर सकता है।
एम. वाय. हाॅस्पिटल ब्लड़ बैंक के मैनेजर डाॅ. अशोक यादव एवं विनायक नेत्रालय के वरिष्ठ नेत्र रोग विषेषज्ञ डाॅ. अमित सोलंकी ने भी अपनी शुभकामनायें दी।
