Bhimavaram ( Andhra Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris service center of Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh held a special seminar for doctors and medical personnel. The function was attended by many prominent personalities from the area, including Mr. Erra Narayana Swamy, former Minister; Mr. Sarraju Garu, former MLA; Mr. Venkatraju Garu, Chairman; Mr. Murthy Garu; Mr. Narasiah Garu, Retired MRO; Dr. Verma from the Verma Hospital; Dr. Vijay Babu, Dental Surgeon; Dr. Anuradha; Dr. Sushila, and BK Revathi, In charge of the local Brahma Kumaris center. Medical personnel from all over the city took part in this program. An exhibition titled “Amarnath Darshan” was also held to bring awareness about the Supreme Soul and Rajayoga Meditation among the greater public.
Dr. Verma, speaking on this occasion, said that nowadays ego is the greatest of all diseases. For a healthy life, we need to shed off ego. He said that such spiritual programs in the area is a praiseworthy initiative.
BK Revathi said that doctors play the important role of relieving mental tensions of the patients during treatment. Along with physical health, the key to restore mental health is by doing daily meditation.
