A Remembrance Day in Oz

Meditation at Tower of Peace in Oz

Blue Mountains, Australia: It was a special occasion, hosted by the Bramha Kumaris in the Blue Mountains, Australia, on January 18. The day, called Avyakt Diwas, is observed to pay tribute to Brahma Baba, the founder of the Brahma Kumaris.

More than 80 participants attended the solemn occasion which charted a pilgrimage to four meditation places — the Tower of Peace, History Hall, Baba’s cottage and Baba’s dwelling place — on the Blue Mountain premises.

BK Charlie, National Co-ordinator of the Brahma Kumaris in Australia, led a silent march to mark the day. The first destination of the pilgrimage was the Tower of Peace, a monument to commemorate the subtle presence of Brahma Baba.

Secondly, Baba’s Hut was in the middle of bushes, secluded, silent and beautiful.

History Hall (a Stone Cottage) was the hub of deep penance (known as bhatti) where BK Charlie conducted a powerful meditation class themed Pilgrimage of Love.

A workshop followed wherein small groups exchanged divine vision (drishti) with each other and then shared Brahma Baba’s divine virtues to observe Brahma Baba’s 50 Years of subtle presence.
