Surat – Majura Gate, Gujarat: The Rural Studies and Economics Department of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris organized a one-day seminar on the topic ‘Yogic Farming‘ at the Social science building of the university campus.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Mr. Shivinder Gupta, presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion he said that man’s sensitivity towards the environment can help in keeping it clean and healthy. The tradition of Rajayoga in India can be carried forward with the initiative of ‘Yogic Farming’.
Vice-Chairperson of the Agricultural and Rural Development Department of the Brahma Kumaris Mount Abu, BK Raju, put forward a case for revolutionizing the way farming is done by employing Rajayoga. He gave various examples in support of this.
Head of the Department of Rural Studies, Dr.Vipul Shamani, said that a ‘Thought Revolution’ with Rajayoga meditation is the need of the hour.
BK Sumanth, Head Quarters Co-ordinator of the Agricultural and Rural Development Department of the Brahma Kumaris from Mount Abu, presented scientific proof of yogic farming. About 140 students, professors and government officers took part in this program. Rajyogini BK Sonal, Head of the Brahma Kumaris center in Majuragate, congratulated everyone for this initiative.

वृक्षों – प्रकृति स्वीकार करती है | भारतीय राजयोग संस्कृति को आगे बढाने के लिए यौगिक खेती सहायकसाबित होगी | माउंट आबू से पधारे ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के कृषि एवं ग्राम विकास के उपाध्यक्ष ब्र.कु.राजू भाई ने यौगिक खेती के कई उदहारण प्रस्तुत कर राजयोग के मार्ग को अपना कर खेती में एक नई क्रांति लाने का संकल्प दिया | ब्रह्माकुमरीज़ मजूरागेट सेवाकेंद्र की संचालिका राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी सोनल बहन ने शुभ भावना व्यक्त की तथा यूनिवर्सिटी डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ़ रूरल स्टडीज़ के हेड डॉ. विपुल शमानी ने अपने प्रवचन में राजयोग के माध्यम से वैचारिक क्रांति की ज़रुरत बताई | माउंट अबू से पधारे ब्रह्माकुमार सुमंत भाई ने शास्वत यौगिक खेती का वैज्ञानिक सबूत पेश किया | इस कार्यक्रम का १५० छात्रों तथा प्रोफेसर और गवर्मेन्ट ऑफिसरों ने लाभ लिया | समग्र कार्यक्रम का संकलन यूनिवर्सिटी के इकोनॉमिक्स डिपार्टमेंट के हेड श्री निवास राव ने किया |
