Mani Manika Award and Letter of Appreciation for Brahma Kumaris Divyang Seva

Cuttack (Odisha): BK Suryamani, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Divyang Seva (Service of the Physically Disabled), Shantivan, was honored with the Mani Manika 2019, State Award, by the Chief Guest Justice Dr. D. P. Choudhury and Chief Speaker Dr. Manorama Mahapatra at Shri Ram Chandra Bhawan, Cuttack, Odisha.

This Award is given to BK Suryamani for his lifetime service of the Disabled.

Recently in Odisha, a State-wide 42-day campaign on “Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring inclusiveness and  Equality” was conducted from January 4th to February 14th by the Brahma Kumaris in collaboration with the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

In this campaign, 102 Institutions (Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired, Mentally Retired Physically Challenged) in Odisha were served by the Brahma Kumaris and nearly 50,000 people were benefited along with 8,000 students.

The Government of Odisha appreciated this state-wide campaign organized by the Brahma Kumaris in empowering persons with disabilities.
