Patan, Bhilai ( Chhattisgarh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Rajyoga Bhawan, Bhilai, organised a seminar on “The Role of Media in the Growth of a Golden-Aged Society.”
The program was inaugurated at Prabhu Milan Bhawan with a candle lighting in the presence of Senior Rajayoga teacher BK Prachi, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Akash Rao Giripunje, Senior media journalist Askaran Jain, BK Shiva Kumari, and invited media delegates.
Addressing the gathering on behalf of the Media Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation of the Brahma Kumaris, Rajyogini BK Prachi said that the Golden Aged society can be constituted only if the society is relieved of negativity and vices. She also mentioned that media, being connected with every section of the society, possesses the power to change the vision of the people in the society. Through Rajayoga Meditation, BK Prachi guided all how to introspect by being soul conscious.
Citing a recent judgment in the apex court, senior media reporter Askaran Jain shared how the electronics and print media mobilized the public to maintain peace and harmony in the country during the aftermath of the judgment. Appreciating the role of media in the all-round development of the society, Akash Rao Giripunje, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Patan, said that the 21st century is the century of information revolution brought by electronics, print, and mobile media which will continue to enlighten people throughout. At the end, Rajyogini BK Shiva Kumari, Centre-in-charge of Patan, thanked all delegates for sharing their valuable opinions.

सर्वप्रथम वरिष्ठ राजयोग शिक्षिका ब्रह्माकुमारी प्राची, एसडीओपी आकाश राव गिरिपुंजे, आसकरण जैन तथा ब्रम्हाकुमारी शिव कुमारी बहन ने दीप प्रज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम प्रारंभ किया ।
ब्रम्हाकुमारी प्राची दीदी ने मीडिया सदस्यों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि समाज को बुराइयों से आजादी मिलेगी तभी स्वर्णिम समाज की स्थापना होगी। मीडिया समाज के हर वर्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है । मीडिया में लोगों के नजरिए को परिवर्तन करने की शक्ति है । आपने सभी को राजयोग मेडिटेशन का अभ्यास कराते हुए कहा कि मुझे अपने अंदर देखना है मुझे स्वयं आत्मिक स्थिति में स्थित हो अपने आपको देखना है ।
वरिष्ठ पत्रकार आशकरण जैन ने कहा कि देश में सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा सबसे बड़े फैसला जब दिया गया तो उसके पूर्व ही पूरे देश में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, प्रिंट, सोशल मीडिया ने हर भाषा में शांति बनाये रखने का स्पष्ट संदेश पहुंचाया। फैसला कुछ भी हो लेकिन शांति व्यवस्था बनी रहे तथा फैसले के बाद देश में शांति बनी रही। यह मीडिया की कमाल और सफलता थी। इसीलिए निश्चित ही स्वर्णिम समाज के विकास में मीडिया की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है।
पाटन के एसडीओपी आकाश राव गिरपुंजे जी ने कहा कि आध्यात्मिक एवं व्यक्तित्व विकास आत्मसात करने की जरूरत है । मीडिया अर्थात माध्यम, आजादी की लड़ाई से आज तक मीडिया की अहम भूमिका रही है। समाज के सर्वांगीण विकास एवं उसकी आवश्यकताओं को पूरी करने में मीडिया की भूमिका सर्वोपरि और सराहनीय रही है । 21वीं सदी सूचना क्रांति इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, प्रिंट और मोबाइल मीडिया का है जिसमें सूचनाओं का प्रसार बहुत जल्दी होता है। समाज का लगभग हर अंग मीडिया के प्रभाव और उसकी भूमिका से अछूता नहीं है। मीडिया जन चेतना को प्रभावित करती रही है और करती रहेगी।
