Chennai ( Tamil Nadu ): A “Run for Peace” program was organized on the International Day of Yoga by the Brahma Kumaris at the Olcott School, Elliot’s Beach, Besand nagar, in Chennai.
Around 700 people participated in the program which included public, police personnel and Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
Special Guests who attended the program were Mr. Sylendra Babu, IPS, Director General of Police, and Mr. Bala Krishnan, IPS, Deputy Inspector General-Railways.
Rajayogini BK Kalavathy, Senior Raja Yoga teacher, Chennai; BK Beena, Zonal Service Co-ordinator; BK Muthumani, Senior Raja Yoga teacher, Adyar, Chennai; and Sister BK Devi, Senior Raja Yoga teacher, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, were also present in the program.
