Panaji (Goa) : A Road Safety Motor Cycle Yatra event was organized in Panaji city under the Transport Wing of Brahma Kumaris. Padma Shri awardee and Arjuna Award winner Brahmanand Sankhwalkar, former football captain of India, was present as the chief guest in the rally. Addressing the participants present in the rally, he said that nowadays youths have become so used to mobile that they use mobile even while driving a scooter or bike, due to which road accidents are increasing. He exhorted them to follow the rules of road safety completely and gave his best wishes for the success of the road safety rally of Brahma Kumaris.
BK Shobha clarified the purpose of the motorcycle rally and said that this road safety motor cycle tour by the Transport Wing of Brahma Kumaris is among the 75 projects given by the government on the occasion of ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ of India. The rally was started by showing the flag off at the Azad Maidan in Panaji by the hands of Chief Guest Brahmanand Sankhwalkar. In this scooter rally, 150 brothers and sisters took part in about 75 scooter rides and 10 cars. The rally ended at the service center of Brahma Kumaris passing through Panaji city and villages around Panaji.

ब्रह्मा कुमारिस के ट्रांसपोर्ट विंग के अंतर्गत सड़क सुरक्षा मोटर साईकिल यात्रा आयोजन पणजी शहर में आयोजित किया गया। रैली मे पद्मश्री से सम्मानित तथा अर्जुन अवार्ड विनर ब्रह्मानंद संखवालकर, भारत के पुर्व फुटबॉल कैप्टन मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे। रैली में उपस्थित प्रतिभागी को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि आज कल युवा वर्ग मोबाइल के इतने आदि हो गए है की स्कूटर या बाइक चलाते समय भी मोबाइल का इस्तेमाल करते है जिससे सड़क दुर्घटनाये बढ़ रही हैं। उन्होंने सड़क सुरक्षा के नियमों का पूरा पूरा पालन करने का आव्हान किया तथा ब्रह्मा कुमारिस के सड़क सुरक्षा रेली की सफलता के लिए अपनी शुभ कामनाएं दी।
Goa एवं सिंधुदुर्ग की प्रभारी बीके शोभा बहनजी ने मोटर साइकिल रैली का उद्देश स्पष्ट करते हुए कहा कि भारत के अमृत महोत्सव के उपलक्ष्य में सरकार द्वारा दिए गए ७५ प्रोजेक्ट्स में ब्रह्मा कुमारिस के ट्रांसपोर्ट विंग द्वारा यह सड़क सुरक्षा मोटर साईकिल यात्रा भारत के विभिन्न स्थानों पर आयोजित की जा रही है। Goa राज्य के कई शहर एवं गांव में यह रैली आयोजित की गई है जो सड़क सुरक्षा नियम के बारेमे सभी को अवगत कराया जा रहा है।
रैली की शुरुआत पणजी के आजाद मैदान में मुख्य अतिथि श्री ब्रह्मानन्द संखवालकर जी के हस्तो से flag off (ध्वज) दिखाकर किया गया। इस स्कूटर रैली में लगभग ७५ स्कूटर सवारी तथा १० कार के जरिए १५० भाई बहनों भाग लिया। रैली पणजी शहर तथा पणजी के आसपास के गांव में होते हुए ब्रह्मा कुमारिस के सेवा केंद्र पर समाप्त हुई।
