Malaysia:

Tying Rakhi to Mauritius High Commissioner

BK Sister Meera visited Mauritius High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. Issop Patel, and Second Secretary, Mr. Kemrajsingh Angateeah. BK Meera shared the contributions and activities of the Brahma Kumaris worldwide and locally. With better understanding of spirituality and the Brahma Kumaris’ contribution, HE Mr. Patel is looking forward to collaborating with Brahma Kumaris Malaysia to serve the Mauritius community in the near future. Sister Meera then tied rakhi to HE Mr. Patel and all his staff.

Tying Rakhi to Indian High Commissioner

BK Sister Ambika, Subzone In charge of Brahma Kumaris in Bangalore, and BK Sister Meera, National Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris in Malaysia, visited His Excellency Mridul Kumar, Indian High Commissioner of Malaysia, and tied rakhi to him and all his 50 staff members. He was so touched by the love and affection of the BK Sisters. BK Ambika shared about SpARC (Spiritual Application Research Centre). He expressed keen interest to invite BK Ambika to conduct a SpARC training for the staff before the end of the year.

BK Sister Ambika arrived in Malaysia for celebration of Rakhi in Penang, Nibong Tebal, Butterworth, Ipoh in the Northern Region and Malacca, Johor Bharu in the Southern Region and combined Rakhi Program for centres in Klang Valley (which was held at the Asia Retreat Centre), Brickfields Centre and Peace Home.

Sister Ambika’s generosity, humility and down-to-earth, deep love and concern for Baba’s children and His task were just commendable. During her two-week stay in Malaysia, she gave BKs and public classes before tying Rakhi to a total of nearly 1,000 people including BKs and the public including VIPs, Chairman of Divine Life Society, Secretary of Minds Association of Penang, Chairman of Sri Gangatharan Sivan Peruman Temple, Butterworth, and the local Councilor.

BK Ambika inspired the audience of general public to learn more about meditation. She said that service is not just giving a lecture which is limited in bringing benefit. To glorify God, we need to make our practice very powerful and deep. Otherwise, there will not be any transformation inside us. We should be so careful in our every effort so that in every step we could help to spread God’s vibration into the atmosphere through our connection in remembrance so that people can benefit. We need to realize deeply that it is our responsibility to serve and give to all, as all are God’s children even though they don’t know God. We need to be so careful to fill ourselves with all the treasures of God’s knowledge, power, virtues, blessings and contentment.
