New York ( USA ): The Brahma Kumaris Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center, located in the Catskill Mountains, Upstate New York, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary of Spiritual Service in the USA ( 1999 – 2019 ).
Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Dadi Janki and BK Hansa’s much anticipated arrival in the USA to celebrate Peace Village Retreat Center’s 20 years of spiritual service has created a beautiful atmosphere of joy and happiness within the BK Family. Special honored guest Dadi Janki arrived in the beautiful retreat center Peace Village in New York state to bless the Annual Regional and Sub-Regional meetings of the Brahma Kumaris in the Americas, Canada, and the Caribbean and to give classes on this year’s focus for self and world service, “Returning to the Source.” More than 400-500 BK students from the Americas, Canada, and the Caribbean arrived for the major program held on Saturday afternoon, May 25.
At age 103, Dadi Janki, Chief Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, is a living example of the benefits of meditation, traveling throughout the world. Her current degree of amazing energy, liveliness, humor, excellent health and BK Hansa’s love and dedication has been a source of great joy and inspiration for all who came to celebrate.
BK Sister Mohini, Regional Co-ordinator of the Brahma Kumaris in the Americas and the Caribbean; BK Sister Kala, Director of Peace Village; BK Sister Chandru, Director of the Brahma Kumaris of West Coast America and Anubhuti Retreat Center in California; BK Sister Hemlata, Director of Brahma Kumaris in the Caribbean region including Trinidad and Guyana; BK Ken from Brazil and other areas of South America; and BK teachers from several of the region’s main BK centers were other inspiring speakers participating in the program.
