Patiala ( Punjab ): The campaign bus of the Brahma Kumaris Youth Wing called “My Bharat Golden Bharat” started from Ahmedabad in 2017 and has now reached Patiala. It has covered about 62,000 kilometers in twenty-two states in an attempt to spread the message of following the spiritual principles by the Youth for a Golden future. The bus is carrying a dedicated team of fifteen members under the guidance of BK Avinash. It was given a warm welcome by the citizens and the Brahma Kumaris family of Patiala.
This was followed by lectures and interactions with the students and staff of the Government Multipurpose Senior Secondary School of Passey Road and the Government Model Town Girls School. The principles of these schools, Mr. Tota Singh and Mr. Balbir Singh Jaura, welcomed and appreciated this initiative by the Brahma Kumaris. BK Avinash and BK Jyoti interacted with the students and urged them to take charge of their mental energies with Rajayoga to build a Golden future for themselves.
As a way to reach the youngsters preparing for various medical and engineering competitive exams, lectures were held at the Lakshya, Photon and Biocell Institutes. Nursing College Tripuri and Brahma Kumaris center Sanour also had meetings with the team members. Business associates from the Tripuri Market Area also welcomed the bus.
The evening saw a major function at the Harpal Tiwana Center, where AIG Jails, Mr. Prem Sagar Sharma was the Chief guest. The leaders of the youth wings of Congress and BJP in Patiala were also present. Through speeches and plays, various relevant issues of the youth such as drug addiction, stress, anxiety, depression and unhealthy lifestyles were addressed. The message of achieving a positive mental state with Rajyoga to dissolve these problems was given to all.
