Message of Unity, Peace, Brotherhood and Harmony on Shivaratri

Mohali ( Punjab ): Brahma Kumaris celebrated the pious festival of Shivratri with great devotion, love and  enthusiasm at Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Phase 7 here today.  A large number of  devotees  from various places such as Mohali, Chandigarh, Kharar, Ropar, Kurali, Morinda and Nurpurbedi participated.  Brahma Kumari Premlata, In-charge Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle, presided over. Rotarian K.K. Seth, President, Rotary Club Mohali; Mr. Paramjit Singh Happy, Municipal Councillor; Dr. Kukku, Chairman, Sanatan Dharam Mandir Phase 7, were Guests of Honour.

21 candles were lit to inaugurate the festival by BK Premlata, BK Rama, Rotarian K.K. Seth, and other dignitaries.  All took a pledge for Unity, Peace, Universal-brotherhood and harmony from Brahma Kumari Premlata after hoisting God Shiva’s flag on this occasion.

While presiding over, Brahma Kumari Premlata congratulated for the 86th Shivajayanti and inspired all to render selfless service to humanity on Shivratri. She claimed  in her discourse that Shivratri can unite the whole of humanity and communities if the teachings of God Shiva  are implemented in a true spirit. She also said that one can learn the technique of meditation which enhances inner power to face all challenges and circumstances.

Brahma Kumari Rama threw light on various rituals of Shivratri such as offering flowers of AAK, Dhatura, Belpatras and keeping fast on this festival. She advised to keep balance of materialism and spirituality in life.
