Maryam Morrison was born in Iran to a Catholic mother and Muslim father in a home full of love. When she was 16 years old, the revolution happened in Iran, and the life that she knew was no longer familiar. Everything changed after a long battle with the new regime, and her path no longer fit in that society.

Maryam joins Sister Jenna to discuss her journey and her lifelong passion for working with animals and what inspired her to ultimately start The Eden Magazine which leads readers to deepen and better understand the world around us and values that guide their lives, providing a forum for all those who share the ideals of peace, caring and oneness.

Maryam is the Founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of The Eden Magazine and an altruist and animal activist.

All of us have been on a journey of experience – perhaps for many lifetimes. These experiences influence our thoughts, our feelings, our words, the way we interact with the world, and ultimately our self-perception. But there is also another part of us – a pure, original self that continues with us on our journey. As we move along, the influence of our experience can dominate this original self and become an obstacle to living a pure life of love, peace, wisdom and joy Join us as we learn to recognize and accept the influence of our experience but claim the power to let our original highest self become the master.
